The emptiness of money

As quantified as it may be
Inherently money has no value
It adds nothing to us
Except burden, debt, and artificial inflation

I never speak economically, only poetically
Things, as valuable as they are, are equally empty inside
Do people add value to us?
Connections with other beings?

Social media rewards "engagement"
Which takes a lot out of us
Real engagment is being attentive in a conversation
That's all it takes

But we lack the attentions spans today
For any real value adds
We just need our dopamine fixes
And the rest is for Meta to "like"
