I once wrote a love letter
I forget whether it was ever acknowledged
I didn't know what love was though
Just the hormones that told me to act
I don't know what love is now either
Though I'm pretty familiar with goodbyes
I never meant to put such finality to the thought
But what else do ya expect from faulty hormones
If only someone told me
You can do it, you can find love
I'd believe them
If only they weren't waving me goodbye
I don't wanna call it a day too
I could run after you forever
But this is the end, my friend
Goodbye, remember me and prosper
