How do I tell you this is all gonna go
How do I tell you I'm not gonna stay
How do I tell you what I'm not supposed to say
How do I know what i know is so
How do i gather my thoughts and feel in control
How do i exercise restraint and not lose hope
How do i get what i want
How do i find what i need
This is the only thing i see in my feed
This is the only way i can firmly plant my foot
This is the only piece of rope I have
This is the only person i can be
You've been here before, and you'll be back again
You can hold my hand, while I try to swim ashore
You're the only one who knows, so don't let go
Now that we're out here, how bout a cuppa joe
